And I used to feel deeply insecure in my physique. I had your stereotypical “skinny-fat” build - lanky limbs, a protruding soft belly, and almost no muscular definition. I remember feeling so ashamed of the way I looked that I spent years only wearing oversized clothing that fully covered my body.

However, I was lucky because I had a positive role model to look up to: my dad. As a kid, I saw him consistently go to the gym, eat well, and prioritize recovery. I was inspired by the way my dad looked and felt, so I asked him to train me. For the next few months, my dad went to the gym with me and taught me everything he knew about how to build muscle, lose fat, and gain athleticism. Years later, I now have the physique and confidence younger me could only dream of, and it all started with my dad’s coaching. He taught me that we can set ambitious goals in life but that sometimes we need someone to help us achieve them.

Don’t be mistaken, though. My health and fitness journey hasn’t been without its challenges. From beginning my fitness journey while quarantining at home during the COVID-19 pandemic to attempting to sustain my routine while working 60-70-hour weeks as a management consultant at Bain & Company, I’ve had to navigate several obstacles, just like we all do, to achieve my health and fitness goals. These experiences were invaluable, however, because they taught me how to overcome excuses and ensure that my health and fitness are consistently prioritized, no matter how crazy life gets.

Now, I’m ready to share what I’ve learned through my own journey to help you develop a sustainable approach to fitness and feel confident in your body and what it can do. Since launching my personal training business Move With Rahul in 2024, I have led more than 250 personal training sessions for over a dozen amazing clients to empower them to achieve their health and fitness goals. What my clients have to say

  • I can provide you with nutrition and fitness guidance to help you achieve your goals related to body composition, muscular strength and endurance, and cardiovascular endurance. At the end of the call, you can expect to leave with:

    1. A realistic and actionable set of physical wellness goals

    2. A recommended high-level fitness routine

    3. Nutrition guidance on caloric and macronutrient targets along with a set of recommended foods and dietary habits

  • As part of the scheduling process, I will ask you to provide some detail about your reasons for wanting to schedule the call along with important context around your current situation (e.g., current activity level, weight, dietary restrictions, past fitness experience, etc.). Sending this information ahead of time will enable both of us to be as prepared as possible and ensure that you’re able to make the most of the time.

  • I believe that human connection drives consistency and that consistency drives progress. From my experience with training duos, I have seen clients make more progress than they otherwise would on their own because of the additional motivation and accountability provided by their training partners both inside and outside of training sessions. Plus, training in groups makes for a really fun experience!

  • You will receive personalized training from me in a small group setting with workouts tailored to your goals. All you need to do is show up to sessions, and I’ll take care of the rest!

    In addition to the in-person training sessions, I will conduct several check-ins to discuss how you’re feeling, the progress you’re seeing, and any feedback or questions you may have. I’ll also be available 24/7 via text or call for anything you want to discuss outside of sessions and check-ins.

  • Sessions will be customized to fit your fitness goals. However, you can likely expect your sessions to include a combination of exercises related to muscle-building, strength, cardiovascular, core, conditioning, and mobility. Additionally, to maximize the benefit of training in pairs and to make sessions fun, I will incorporate exercises that encourage both teamwork and friendly competition.

  • We will train in the 73 East Lake gym in Downtown Chicago (The Loop). Sessions will last 50 minutes. You and your training partner will collectively decide how many sessions to purchase and when to schedule them using my Calendly.

  • There are three packages available for purchase (prices shown are per person, not per pair):

    1. 10 sessions for $500 ($50/session/person)

    2. 20 sessions for $900 ($45/session/person)

    3. 30 sessions for $1,200 ($40/session/person)

  • First, you will need to indicate your interest by submitting the application form linked above. As part of the application form, you and your selected training partner will schedule a consultation call with me so that I can learn more about what you’re looking for. If we mutually feel there is a good fit, you will then be asked to submit payment. Finally, we can then begin training!

  • I unfortunately can’t provide refunds for scheduled consultations or purchased training session packages, so please ensure that you are 100% confident in your decision before making any purchase.
